2. Personal Information We Collect, How We Collect It, and How We Use It
Our Company collects information from club managers who create an HRM FIT CLUB and from subscribers who use our platform and mobile app to record their workouts.
Club Registration: To create a club location on hrmfitclub.com, users must provide contact information, such as name, address, email address, phone number, and credit/debit card information. We also collect information about your location and the type of fitness challenges you plan to sponsor for your members.
Member/User Information: Members using our mobile app to record and track their workouts with a Bluetooth-enabled heart rate monitor must provide additional information, including current body weight, date of birth, gender, and height. We also collect email addresses and phone numbers of our members on this platform.
3. The Storing of Workout Information
We store workout history for each member to help them track their fitness progress over time. Members’ workout information is shared with club owners and displayed on club leaderboards. If you prefer not to share your workouts, please do not use our platform. HRM FIT CLUB is designed for users to compete based on workout frequency and intensity in a sharing community.
4. Credit Card and Payment Information
Our mobile app is currently free to use and does not require credit card information. If we offer advanced features in the future, they will be purchased using in-app purchases through your phone provider. Club managers/sponsors will use a credit card processor to pay the monthly subscription once the product completes its public beta. No credit card is required during the public beta. When we begin charging subscriptions, we will use a third-party payment system provided by Stripe (https://stripe.com), and our company will not handle or store credit card information.
5. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
SSL is a security technology that encrypts the connection between a web server and a browser. All data transmitted between our web server and your browser remains private and secure. Our website uses SSL to protect your information. To verify our SSL Certificate, click on the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. The certificate should match the name of the website operator.
6. Special Cases for Personal Information Use or Sharing
We may use or share personal information about Visitors or Members in ways described in this policy without additional notice or opt-out options. This includes disclosing information to credit agencies, collection agencies, merchant database agencies, law enforcement, or to satisfy legal requirements. We may also disclose information to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our policies or to operate our Services properly and protect our Company and Members.
California residents have the right to request, once a year, information about third parties with whom we have shared information about you or your family for their marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, and a description of the categories of personal information shared. To make such a request, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and provide us with your name, address, and email address. We will respond to your request within thirty days.
